Steam Points

Steam Points are an in-game currency that users earn for purchasing games, add-ons, and other items in the Steam store. For every amount spent (usually $1 or the equivalent in another currency), a certain number of points are awarded. They can be used to: Purchase items from the Steam Points store: stickers, animated avatars, profile frames, backgrounds, badges, and other cosmetic enhancements for your profile. Friend gifts: you can send cosmetic items to other users. Badge upgrades: points can be spent on leveling up the Steam Community Badge. Steam Points are not a currency for purchasing games or DLC - they are only used for cosmetic and social features within the platform. Points are not transferable between accounts and cannot be exchanged for real money.
